How Stress is Killing Your Immune System!
Have you ever noticed that around stressful times, you start feeling more sick?
It’s like the cold was waiting to attack right before major work commitments, moving, or even during a busy holiday season.
Or how in college you’d always get sick or feeling down during midterms and finals?
The point is, stress weakens the immune system. It triggers the release of cortisol, giving us signals to take action on our stress.
The release of these stress hormones decreases white blood cells, the main force of the immune system that protect the body against infectious disease.
Studies have show that stress is to blame for as much as 90% of disease and illness.
Our Immune System
Our bodies are built perfectly, the best example of that is our perfect immune system.

Plus, those of us who are ambitious in our ventures can feel added pressure.
Chronic stress can have a field day on your immune system leaving you sick and exhausted.
Not to mention, being sick makes things like work and parenting even harder and more stressful! Like a vicious cycle.
